44 Large and sandy campsites are available, set far apart to offer some privacy campers. The shared ablution facilities with showers and toilets are kept clean at all times. Each campsite has barbeque facilities, electrical connection points and a light, a water tap and animal proof rubbish bins.
It is recommended that you stay at least two nights, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Namib Desert from the shade of a camel thorn tree, but also having time to spend a day of fun and adventure in the dunes of Sossusvlei.
The entry gate to the Namib-Naukluft Park opens at sunrise and then there is a drive of 60km from the entrance to the famous dunes and vleie. To be able to take those early morning sunrise pictures, Sesriem Campsite is the ideal place to stay, because you are already inside the park and can get a head start on the drive to Sossusvlei.
